Trinkresol-Streupuder
(Delousing Tin)

During the Great War both sides had to endure many hardships. Mud, rain, sickness, exposure, and even parasitic lice. Both sides did what they could to address the situation. One of the solutions was a private purchase item that the German soldier could procure for themselves so they could treat for lice and fleas. Just a little comfort to help ease the suffering.

The sample seen here is a construct of tin metal painted over with feldgrau paint. The cap is made of a brass tin metal that twists to open and close the dispersal holes for the powder to escape. It is adored with a black cross with the Rod of Asclepius shown as well. At the bottom at the base you will see the manufacturer markings.
