Geldgürte
(Money Belt)
The Money Belt was a private purchase item for the German soldier to use to hold valuable belongings up against their belly. This particular sample is a interesting sample. It is made out of a canvas material with the brass star snap buttons. The fastening strap used is a hemp like material with a 3 prong metal buckle to hold the belt in place. Not a very common item, nor very sought after due to its niche use by German soldiers.
