Tragegurt
(Stretcher Strap)

Original WW1 German Ersatz stretcher strap (Tragegurt). These would go around the neck of the stretcher bearers (Krankenträger) to help support carrying a stretcher.

This sample is unissued, and made of Nettel Fabric and loops held together by bronze rivets. Not stamped marked, which is normal for these.
